Our Mission
We foster a joyful, Christ-centered educational environment that supports students’ unique needs, through real-world, inquiry-based instruction, community service, and family engagement and support. By instilling a love for learning and a belief that all children can learn, we prepare them to thrive in academics, community and relationships, and to positively impact the world around them.
Meet the Founder
Eden Academy’s founder, Marisa Mitchell, has a passion for reviving the joy of learning and creative thought within children. Marisa has worked in education and served with low income children and specializes in trauma informed teaching, and on-going learning on child brain development. After serving in both public and charter schools and witnessing the challenges facing her students and the lack of appropriate resources and training for teachers to best teach and prepare students for the future, Marisa sought to create Eden Academy.

Eden Academy is currently hosting workshops and summer programs as we prepare to open our school in Fall 2027. We are partnering with donors and grants to provide scholarships and tuition assistance options for families as needed.
